Schroeder is doing amazing in his foster home! He loves to run and is already even starting to get the hang of walking on a leash.

Schroeder gets along great with other dogs and we think he would do best in a home with another dog for company and to help him adjust to life outside of a laboratory.

A typical beagle, Schroeder looks forward to meal time and loves his treats, too!

Schroeder spent the first four years of his life in a laboratory as a research subject. He never played with toys or ran on grass or walked on a leash or had a cozy bed to sleep in at night.
