This sweet, shy little beagle is gaining confidence each day! Ginny is living with Katie, another one of the beagle girls from the same laboratory rescue, and the girls have started, very tentatively, to chase each other and play a little bit. Laboratory survivors don’t know much about playing or toys or running or chasing, but these girls are learning together. 

Ginny can be skittish at first, but she does love to be pet and massaged, it just takes a while for her to work up her courage to come close for loving. 

She is still not walking on leash but she’s starting to understand to go potty outside. 

Every day, Ginny is learning new things and getting comfortable and even a little adventurous!

Ginny was rescued, along with 19 other beagles, from an animal testing laboratory.

Until now, she’s known only a cage and the inside of a laboratory as her whole world. 

Things are about to get so much better for Ginny!
