Charlotte is still very timid and will run and hide when facing new things. She is learning from her foster sibling, Tilly, all about “how to be a dog” and pays close attention and follows her lead.  Charlotte learned to trust doorways and enjoy walks from Tilly.

At first, Charlotte would freeze when it came to the leash and walking, but now she likes her walks so much she does a little twirl when she sees a harness.

She enjoys belly scratches and wags her tail and approaches people, but is still wary and she might make a few passes before letting you share affections.

Charlotte loves to run and play with Tilly and she likes to chase fast things: leaves, toys, and butterflies.

Charlotte was rescued, along with 19 other beagles, from an animal testing laboratory. 

Until now, she’s known only a cage and the inside of a laboratory as her whole world. 

Things are about to get so much better for Charlotte!
