Yuki has come far in less than two months. When she was first released from the laboratory, she was so scared she would run and hide and wasn’t interested in contact with humans. Who could blame her?

After a few weeks of her foster family showing her love and kindness, Yuki is coming out of her shell. She loves toys and loves to play and run and is now asking for ear scritches and belly rubs!

A typical beagle, Yuki enjoys her meals and is starting to finally put on a little weight after starting out underweight.

Yuki was rescued from an animal testing laboratory in December 2022, and made a challenging journey from the east coast to California in the middle of a snowstorm through a blizzard!

Yuki spent her first three years in a cage in a labortory.
