Blanche was one of the more shy and fearful beagles we took in not quite a week ago.

She is slowly adjusting to her new life outside of a laboratory, but is still very skittish, not coming near her foster mama yet. 

Her patient foster mom is giving Blanche all the time and space she needs to feel safe and gain confidence, with her own little area where she can decompress. 

Blanche is a very sweet little beagle and with time and understanding, we know she is going to learn to trust humans and trust herself.

Blanche was rescued, along with 9 other beagles, from an animal testing laboratory.

Until now, she’s known only a cage and the inside of a laboratory as her whole world. 

Things are about to get so much better for this sweet little beagle!
