Alfie

Beagle dog Bosch in park
Beagle dog Bosch

Name: Alfie

Age: Four years old

Sex: Male (neutered)

Color: Tri-Colored

Location: Southern California

Little Alfie is one of the most fearful and skittish of the beagles we took in a little over a week ago.

This cute beagle boy’s foster family still cannot get near him.
He loves to be outside and he has his own area inside the house where he feels safe.

His foster family is giving Alfie the time and space he needs to gain confidence and learn to trust humans.

Alfie gets along well with his furry foster sibling and even plays with her, but he just can’t trust people yet.

His foster mama tells us Alfie is eating well, and loves treats, but is afraid to take anything right from their hands.

Alfie clearly has a long way to go and we’re so grateful for his foster family who are meeting him exactly where he is so Alfie can one day soon live th life he was always meant to live.

Alfie was rescued, along with 9 other beagles, from an animal testing laboratory.

Until now, this sweet but fearful little beagle boy has known only a cage and the inside of a laboratory as his whole world.

Things are about to get so much better for Alfie!
