Brian is still quite shy and very timid. The first night after his release, we stayed in a hotel and Brian just laid on the floor trembling, not wanting anyone to try to comfort him.

He is already starting to want to make contact with humans and liking to be pet. He still needs time to adjust to his new life living outside of a laboratory but we think he’s going to be a wonderful companion to the right person.

 We took in Brian, along with five other beagle boys, from an animal testing laboratory here in the United States just a little over a week ago.

Brian is two years old and has spent his life so far living in a cage in a laboratory. He knows nothing about living outside of a cage, nothing about living in a home with a family, going for walks, or playing with toys.
